By downloading and using the MicroLetters app, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Purpose of the app

MicroLetters makes it easy to create and send digital letters. The app is aimed at private individuals who want to design personal messages in style.

2. Unauthorized content

You agree not to use MicroLetters for illegal, offensive, discriminatory or objectionable content. In particular, it is prohibited:

• to distribute content that violates applicable law,
• to threaten, harass or violate the rights of others,
• to use copyrighted content without authorization,
• to send spam or mass unsolicited messages.

We reserve the right to remove content or block user accounts in the event of violations.

3. Availability and changes to the offer

We make every effort to ensure uninterrupted provision. However, there is no guarantee of constant availability. Maintenance, further developments or technical problems can lead to outages.

We also reserve the right to discontinue the app or individual functions in whole or in part at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons.

4. Liability

Use is at your own risk. We assume no liability for damages resulting from the use of the app, unless they are based on intentional or grossly negligent behavior on our part.

5. Data protection

We treat your data confidentially and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can find details in our privacy policy.

6. Rights to content

You retain all rights to the content you create or upload via the app. You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe any third-party rights or break any laws.

7. Changes

We reserve the right to change these terms of use at any time. You will be informed of any significant changes in the app.

8. Purchases and virtual content (credits)

So-called credits can be purchased in the app to unlock certain functions or content. The credits represent virtual units and have no real monetary value outside the app.

The purchase is made via the respective app store (e.g. Google Play) and is subject to its payment processing and conditions.

No right of withdrawal: By purchasing credits, you expressly agree that the execution of the contract (activation of the credits) begins immediately and that you thereby waive your statutory right of withdrawal (Section 356 (5) BGB). Refunds are therefore excluded unless there are legal grounds.

We reserve the right to temporarily or permanently block access to the app or certain functions in the event of payment fraud, chargebacks or other misuse.

Credits earned are linked to the respective user account and remain valid for as long as the account exists. A payout is not possible.

9. Delivery and receipt of MicroLetters

We make every effort to ensure reliable delivery, but accept no liability for failed deliveries or unread emails. The successful delivery of a MicroLetter cannot be guaranteed. Delivery depends on factors beyond our control, including in particular:

• incorrect or incomplete information provided by the sender,
• spam filters or technical limitations at the recipient's end,
• server problems or network outages,
• deliberate disregard or deletion by the recipient.
